I copied the contents of the floppies to a PC card hard drive, both into a single directory for all the files, and into separate directories for the separate floppies, and tried to install them in that way. I did not succeed, as the installation program would tell me that it couldn't find something that it needed.

I rebooted, changed the lpt port to EPP, and reprinted the document without any problems. Somehow, I think that the "lost connection" problem and the recurring request to re-install the print driver are related. Anybody else experiencing a similar problem or got any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?
