Installation Issue

I aborted the installation because the compatibility wizard tells me I have to uninstall Windows Defender and OneCare, then try to find an updated version (I already have the latest versions).
I am not sure I want to leave my system vulnerable just to try a Beta.
Is there any way I can bypass this and install Vista?

Yes you have to uninstall those 2 programs but Vista has Defender built-in but a different version all together. OneCare does not work yet but there are many companies out there who provide Vista beta testers free anti-virus programs. I use Avast, it is the ONLY one that has had no issues. -- AMD-FX-60 2gb OCZ Plat. memory ATI 1800 AIW 2x74gb Raptors in RAID-0 2x400gb WD HDD in RAID-1 Epox Nvidia-4 Ultra M/B Senior Member Overclockers.com
